Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in the sports of combat. Aspen Ladd started training in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC aged 18. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fc 16 marked her debut fight in the Bantamweight division. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen used superior wrestling to defeat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as an "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd failed to make the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy by using TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last match in the organization. The winner was Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound for a second-round TKO victory. Her dominance grew and she won a much more convincing victory during her next fight against Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd took on Evinger to the punch in the initial round, and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Her first major fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd took home the unanimous decision after some great exchanges between the two fighters, was awarded the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended the streak of winning. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a match that was a replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was a unanimous decision.
