At the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, the athlete became an international sensation when she scored the most perfect 10 in sport's history. Nadia Comaneci not only attracted the attention of others, but she also helped Romania establish itself as a world-class athlete. The sporting icon made her a world-wide sensation after she came up with an unbeatable score. Her story became a legend, and helped popularize gymnastics around the globe.
